As a finalist for the awards, Mack underwent a rigorous, months-long evaluation process led by the awards’ sponsors, Florida Sterling Council and FloridaMakes. The sponsors assessed Mack in six categories: leadership; strategic planning; customer and market focus; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; workforce; and operations. The evaluation included a site visit and interviews with employees from all levels of the company.
