Certification expands Mack’s ability to serve US and Canadian defense contractors

MELBOURNE, FL – March 21, 2018: Mack Technologies Inc., a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services, is now certified under the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA’s) United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP).  The program provides eligible contractors with access to unclassified, export-controlled technical data and/or critical technology, as defined by US Department of Defense directive 5230.25 and by the Canadian Technical Data Control Regulations.

“This certification facilitates our ability to serve clients who are in possession of sensitive joint US and Canadian military data or technology,” said Will Kendall, President of Mack Technologies.  “Mack is a veteran-owned company, and for more than twenty-five years we have successfully provided defense customers with highly-complex circuit board and electromechanical assembly services for the US military.  We look forward to extending our quality-driven capabilities to Canadian military interests.”

The JCP helps to protect controlled Unclassified Militarily Critical Technical Data (MCTD) and technology from common adversaries, while allowing it to flow to certified Canadian and US companies with legitimate business needs. The program protects the competitive edge of North American companies by ensuring that only eligible companies are provided with sensitive data.
