Summary
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Coordinator will support new business initiatives, assist with customer communications, coordinate internal activities, and help ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales and onboarding process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with customer quotations by coordinating information from internal departments.
- Support the transition of new customers to the account management team.
- Help develop customer presentations, proposals, and case studies.
- Maintain and update sales opportunities and customer information within CRM systems.
- Conduct market research and identify potential new business opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain standardized documents and reports that support business development activities.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and follow-up actions for the business development team.
- Support pricing activities by working with internal teams.
- Collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to help meet customer expectations.
- Assist with customer order reviews and communication regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Help create customer onboarding and launch plans for new programs.
- Support internal teams during new customer and product launches.
- Communicate with customers to understand future needs and opportunities.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years direct electronics industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills are paramount
- High level of proficiency in Excel with ability to use advanced formulas
- Ability to think strategically
- Domestic and international travel may be required
The annual salary for this role is expected to be $60,000 + depending on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and industry knowledge.
