Summary

To assemble electronic components in a variety of printed circuit board assemblies encompassing Surface Mount and Pin Thru-hole technologies in a lean manufacturing environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow assembly procedures and process documentation
  • Verify integrity of material to be assembled
  • Assemble and or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
  • Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures
  • Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space
  • Pre-form component leads per process documentation
  • Identify and report defective components
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 1+ years’ experience in electronics
  • Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature
  • Electronic component assembly skills
  • Must pass soldering skills test and be proficient with soldering a led free produce
  • Eco wiring ability is a plus
  • Ability to read assembly procedures and follow process documentation in English
  • Knowledge IPC Acceptability Guideline
  • Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment
  • IPC 610 certified
  • IPC -J-STD certified
  • The pay rate starts at $21.00 + per hour depending on experience
