Source & Procure
Our proficiency in global demand leverage allows us to capitalize on our overall material spend in order to obtain the best possible prices for our customers. We maintain an integrated database of historical records that allow us to aggregate, by manufacturer's part number, every part ever purchased or quoted at any Mack facility. Utilizing this data, we drive our internal teams and our suppliers to deliver the most competitive pricing available.
Our close partnerships with leading suppliers enable Mack to deliver the flexibility and responsiveness that is our hallmark. From dedicated on-site resources to e-commerce-based auto release programs, Mack ensures the supply chain has a proper balance between flexibility and cost. Our long-term relationships with key suppliers yield necessary lifecycle maintenance and early warning on the status of key components, enhanced by expert design-in services to specify the latest technology available to satisfy the requirements of our customers.
Our materials management teams work in two distinct ways to attain significant benefit for our customers. First, our dedicated teams, including a dedicated customer Buyer/Planner, focus on individual customer requirements paying particular attention to implementing schedule changes, ECOs and other program variations quickly and efficiently.
