Mack Technologies Completes Move to Larger Building in Mexico  -- Adds 40% More Manufacturing Space to Support Growth

JUAREZ, MEXICO, JULY 15, 2011 – Mack Technologies, Inc. has moved into a new building in Juárez, México to allow for continued growth of its operations. The new space offers approximately 40% more manufacturing area and allows for future expansion into an empty lot directly adjacent to the building.  The company’s facility has operated in Juárez for almost two decades and the new location reaffirms Mack’s commitment to manufacturing in the region. Additionally, Mack values the longstanding relationships it has developed with its employees and was pleased to find a brand new facility less than two miles from the existing site which has provided an easy transition for all employees.
The new building does not just provide more space; its open floor plan has allowed Mack Technologies to configure the space to its specific needs and requirements. “We wanted to find a space that provided a blank slate.  We have dedicated ourselves to understanding our operations and how to maximize and enhance our performance.  Being able to have one-hundred percent control of the layout in our new building has allowed us to implement the best production flow for our existing operations.  Additionally, we have designed the space with moveable air and power drops allowing us to reconfigure any area with relative speed and ease,” said John Whetten, Juárez Plant Manager.
“The transition of all equipment, personnel, and materials is now complete and full production operations have resumed without any impact to Customers during the transition. My sincere appreciation goes to the entire Mack Technologies team who worked diligently to ensure a seamless move to the new location.  It is that type of work ethic that drives the team to consistently deliver on our customers’ requirements and has granted us the opportunity to expand our operations. We look forward to continued growth and success and are pleased that we have found a space that will allow for us to do so,”  said Whetten.
