Provide process engineering support in a high technology SMT contract-manufacturing environment. Will be responsible for supporting SMT equipment and AOI programming. Will be required to debug new product introductions. Responsible for developing assembly processes to deliver consistently high product quality. Technical support to Lead SMT Engineers and Customer Satisfaction Teams responsible for implementing ECO’s, supporting all production runs to ensure world-class DPMO levels and performing DFM analyses. Work with the Operations Team to continually improve process yields. Generate process documentation packages to document manufacturing requirements.
Must be a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Universal pick and place equipment and Valor software a plus. 1 + years engineering experience in a Contract Manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent is preferred
